Friday Introspection Prompt #24

This week, in Paris, I was delivering a workshop for about 100 women in a large multinational corporation. And I was struck that at the end of my keynote a person who was also a facilitator said to me “you are funny”. She might have said other things but my mind got stuck on the word “funny”. And weirdly enough it resonated very deep and I can recall my performance and yes I would agree I was funny. Well, they were laughing! I can see myself gesticulating, telling jokes and stories about my life to illustrate a point, and I was also laughing at myself (in a kind way).
